With branding agency POOL, Jennah art directed and designed these first and second ever national ad campaigns for Burt’s Bees.
In these national advertising campaigns, Burt’s Bees boldly, yet gracefully, compares their natural ingredients to competitors synthetic ingredients. An all natural and playful look at feel conveys an innocence and dedication to well-being. A honeycomb banner holding the brand name, product name, tagline, website URL, product and Natural Products Association seal was created as a brand standard.
The culmination of Burt’s Bees first ever national advertising campaign, The Burt’s Bees Guide to Your Well-Being ran as in insert in four national publications, educating consumers about natural vs. synthetic ingredients. The magazine insert features a “synthetic ingredients to avoid” wallet-sized card.
The first campaign concept compares natural ingredients to synthetic ingredients. The second campaign is a play on popular movie titles.
